Some frequently asked questions
Where do the products come from?
Our factory is nestled in the beautiful Bavarian countryside in Arzberg, we ship it to the UK and Ireland in large mega trailors in order to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.
What is it made from?
Simply put-bags and bottles! The otherwise waste products come in at one end of the factory, get made in to LDPE (low density polyethylene) pellets which in-turn form the range by an injection molding process.
What guarantees do I get?
20 years on all of our range, no quibbles. Installation guarantees are between your installer and you.
How is it delivered?
In palletised form, although there is no minimum order. We need to know what square metres you require and the post code, we then can work out the most economical way of delivering the goods. Larger 22 pallet loads are delivered direct from the factory, for this we give transport discounts.
When can I get supplied?
We have three main delivery methods:
Standard:3-4 working days (usually arrives between 1-2)
Premium:2-3 working days (usually arrives within 1 working day)
Am: Next day AM
Where can I buy it?
Through us or our installers. You can collect if you wish from our Wirral based warehouse

We can take your order over the telephone and accept all credit and debit cards(2% surcharge applies), You can request a pro-form invoice and pay by BACS (no surcharge). You can pay by cleared cheque or cash on collection.
How long has the product been around?
The factory has been making grids for over 21 years now and we can take you to the very first installation back in 1994 which looks as good today as it did back then. We took over the distribution of the Ecogrid range four years ago and have grown from strength to strength by about 35 % annually.
Do you install the product?
No but we do have a UK and Irish network of installers that are very familiar with the product.
What makes the range the best in the World?
Firstly, because it is the original and the one copied (badly) by other grid manufacturers, it is independently tested every year by the massive TUV testing house and it carries various patents.
Is this the only product that you do?
No, we have a rainwater harvesting division-Raincatcher that is manufactured in the UK. We have a geotextile membranes division and an inspection chamber division. We also do a variety of recycled plastic products and surface options for the grids, just look at our products page.
Do you offer trade accounts?
We do, however we also have a strict vetting procedure and insist on payment in advance for the first order.
Can I get a sample?
Of course, we will need the delivery address and the installation details in order to ascertain the most appropriate grid for your needs.
Does a site survey cost anything?
No, this is a free service. We will look at ground conditions, listen to your needs and advise. We don’t employ sales people so there are no pressure sales.
